I was going through my phone trying to find a particular photo when this one made me pause and think 'wow.'
7 Months ago I mustered all my courage to do a recording at the Expo for Female Fusion.
When Jen first asked me my initial thought was to say no. I felt self-conscious, and an imposter amongst these formidable businesswomen.
The person I was then to the person I am today is miles apart. I am so glad that I didn't listen to my inner critic and took the plunge out of my comfort zone.
This photo of Jen Blandos, Bianca Gracias, Joelene Trichardt, and me represents a HUGE learning curve in my life. It also reminds me that sometimes you just need to say 'feck it,' pull your shoulders back, smile and go for it.
Never underestimate the power of in-person events because that's where the most powerful friendships and relationships are cultivated.
